Day 1: Arrival & Coastal Highlights — Tiberias Overnight

Travel north along the Mediterranean coast

 

Visit Caesarea Maritima, explore the ancient Roman amphitheater, Herod’s palace ruins, and the aqueduct by the sea

 

Continue to Haifa: Panoramic view of the Bahá’í Gardens from Louis Promenade

 

Brief walk through the German Colony district to see historic Templar buildings and charming streets

 

Transfer to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee

Day 2: Galilee Spiritual & Culinary Experience — Tiberias Overnight

 

Morning:

 

Scenic Sea of Galilee boat ride with guide commentary on biblical history

 

Visit Capernaum, explore the ancient synagogue and Peter’s House, key pilgrimage sites

 

Stop at the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount with beautiful gardens and views

 

Visit Tabgha, the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes

Visit Yardenit Baptismal Site on the Jordan River

Day 3: Northern Israel History & Art — Tiberias Overnight

 

Morning:

 Visit Akko (Acre) Old City, explore Crusader fortress, Templar tunnels, and vibrant local market

 Travel to Rosh Hanikra, take the cable car down to explore sea grottos at Israel’s northern border with Lebanon

 

Afternoon:

 

Visit Safed (Tzfat), the center of Jewish Kabbalah mysticism: tour synagogues, meet local artists in the old artists’ colony, browse galleries

 

Evening:

Day 4: Nazareth & Journey to Jerusalem — Jerusalem Overnight

 

Morning:

 Visit Nazareth, the largest Arab city in Israel:

 Basilica of the Annunciation, one of Christianity’s holiest sites

 St. Joseph’s Church and the bustling Old Market

 

Afternoon:

 

Stop at Beit She’an National Park or Beit Alpha Synagogue mosaics on the way south

 Scenic drive through the Jordan Valley, entering Jerusalem via Mount Scopus for panoramic views

 

Evening:

Day 5: Jerusalem Old City — Jerusalem Overnight

 

Morning:

 Walk through Jaffa Gate into the Old City

 Explore Jewish Quarter: visit the Cardo, Hurva Synagogue, and the Western Wall

 Walk the Via Dolorosa, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Christian Quarter

 Explore the Armenian Quarter and lively bazaars in the Muslim Quarter

Visit the Mount of Olives: Church of the Ascension, Dominus Flevit, panoramic views over the Old City

 Walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations

 Visit Mount Zion: Room of the Last Supper, King David’s Tomb

 

Afternoon:

 

Tour Ein Karem, a picturesque village on Jerusalem’s outskirts: visit the Church of the Visitation, stroll through quaint streets with local artisan shops

Day 7: Museums & Markets — Jerusalem Overnight

Morning:

 

Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial Museum

 Explore the Israel Museum, including the Shrine of the Book (Dead Sea Scrolls) and the scale model of Second Temple Jerusalem

 

Afternoon:

Day 8: Masada & Dead Sea Experience — Dead Sea Overnight

 

Early Morning:

 Continue to Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered

 

Afternoon:

 

Arrive at Dead Sea resort

Day 9: Bethlehem & Judean Hills Wine Region — Tel Aviv Overnight

Morning:

 

Visit Bethlehem, including the Church of the Nativity, Manger Square, and the Milk Grotto Chapel

 Explore local Christian artisan workshops and souvenir cooperatives

 

Afternoon:

 

Travel through the Judean Hills to a boutique winery for wine tasting and light snacks
